Masks

I love making these masks; they’re wearable and reasonably comfortable so that you can masquerade all night. First I create a basic shape with cardboard, then build it up with papier mache until it has the form I’m looking for. I carefully cut each feather from leather or leatherette, upcycled from bags, jackets and scraps. Then I glue glue glue until it’s covered and add a foam backing for comfort.
